NapUp attaches to any car seat or high–back booster with adjustable straps. When your child is awake, the head strap is easily moved to the up position, above your child's head, without disturbing them. When your child falls asleep, the head strap is moved to the down position, parallel to the child's forehead, preventing the head from bobbing around or falling forward. The head strap can easily be pulled down with two fingers to the correct safe and comfortable position across the sleeping child’s forehead
NapUp is suitable for children sitting in a forward-facing car seat to a high-back booster. Therefore NapUp can be used for many years and grows with your child. NapUp has a forehead strap that is connected by Velcro, so it can be made smaller or bigger according to your child's head size.
NapUp does not change the way a forward-facing car seat or high-back booster perform in an accident. In the unfortunate incident of an accident, NapUp's forehead strap automatically detaches and allows for the natural movement of the head, not restricting the head in any way.
NapUp does not need to be re-attached each time your child falls asleep. When the NapUp forehead strap is not in use, it can be kept in the up position, and will not disturb your child. When the NapUp strap is up, your child will enjoy the soft comforting feeling of the cushions against their cheeks. Only when your child falls asleep, will you move the forehead strap (that was previously in the up position, above your child’s head while they were awake) down and parallel to your child’s forehead to support their head, to prevent their head inevitably bobbling and falling.
Not at all. When your child is awake, the forehead strap can comfortably stay above their head. Only when your child falls asleep do you move the forehead strap down and into position, parallel to the child’s forehead, to support their head.
This shouldn’t happen, so If it does, you should re-attach NapUp by following the clear instruction outlined in the instructions booklet or video. Please make sure that the NapUp is attached at the correct height – parallel to your child's forehead, and that the Velcro on the forehead strap is adjusted so that there is a 1-2cm gap between your child’s forehead and the forehead strap.
NapUp is suitable for children from the age in which they can sit facing forward in a car seat. With the correct use of the Velcro on the forehead strap, the strap can be made as small or as big as needed, depending on your child's head size. Please refer to the instructions to ensure NapUp is attached correctly and at the correct height for your child.
Not at all. When your child is awake, the forehead strap is moved up above their head and doesn’t even touch the top of their head. Your child will simply enjoy the soft feeling of the cushions against the sides of their face. When your child falls asleep, you move the forehead strap downward towards their forehead. There will still be a 1-2cm gap between the forehead strap and your child’s head, allowing free movement of the head while your child naps.
